In this text the IAMCR Communication, Social Justice and Democracy Working Group reflects on the “Communicating Narratives, Imaginaries and Epistemes of Hope” conference, which brought together 54 participants from Europe, Asia and America.
IAMCR highlights the two keynote speakers and the 36 research contributions across eight thematic sessions. Among the topics were presentations on sustainable futures, young people, artistic expressions of hope, democratic practice, peace and conflict communication, and protest or political imaginaries.
